On their second album »levitation« Frank Meyer and Roman Leykam present a wide range of calm and meditative tracks. Harmonic flowing sounds mostly with a rhythmic base in the first part of the album (tracks 1 to 6) create a pleasant feeling. The guitars of both musicians sound subtle in the flow of the music. In the last part of the album the guitars are more in the foreground, an excellent mix of improvisation and structure. Clever sophisticated arrangements with a lot of individual touch, no off-the-shelf music. Frank Meyer: “The music on Levitation is inspired by the exuberant plurality of the internet as well as by ethnic sounds, and also by the heritage of the veterans of early electronic and synthesizer music.”
